The Buxton Carnival 4 starts just ahead of the Carnival procession and races through the heart of town before a Market Place finish.
The race is run under UK Athletics rules. The minimum age is 16 on race day, with parent or guardian permission required for runners under 18. Assemble at 1:30pm on Station Road for the 1:45pm start.

If the 200-runner limit has not been reached by 10 July, race-day entry will be £13 affiliated or £15 non-affiliated.
Running for something bigger
In memory of Thomas Theyer.
The race is dedicated to former Buxton AC junior Thomas Theyer. Money raised contributes to the Thomas Theyer Foundation, helping children and young people with additional needs or difficult life circumstances enjoy outdoor activities and giving their families valuable respite.
